Hello there, sorry to disturb, but i happened to have the exact same error message (error 339 component 'MSMASK32.OCK' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.) when trying to run a scientific simulation programme on windows 8. The situation is slightly different, as the program does run when I'm am not in administrator's mode (thought freezes when operating the simulation, the only thing it was made for), but display the message (MSMASK32.OCK) when I am! This is the best situation I got so far and it is only when runing in Win 7 mode (worse in other modes). Also the program seems to have problems saving file (non critical error message display).
