Tehbizz, i followed your link but found nowhere in it the possibility to use the nikon D90 with sb400 in manual mode with a manual lens. The D300 yes but not the D90. Manual Focus/D90. Download 60 In 1 Jamma Board Manual. Many reports I've read (kenrockwell etc) recommend the older optics. I also prefer to focus myself, it gives me more control. However I have just bought a very cheap yet immaculate NIKON 28-80MM F3.3-5.6 G ZOOM LENS, so I'm hoping it will work on my D90.

Will get a 20mm nikon prime next. I intend in a few years to get a full frame camera so the Nikon will do till then.

I'll just get used to the crop factor and take it into consideration with the shot. Does this mean that you only get part of the image you see in the viewfinder when you look at your shots?
