Respawn timer appears to be as short as 30m for several 'realms' (CRZ splinters), but others are reporting 2hr+ waits. Edit 4/13 - it's possible the sharding is creating the longer waits, as the area gets more crowded.

You must be 110 to see the feather. The mob scales so you could theoretically tame it lower if you had a max level character pop the feather. The gryphon is visible (and attackable) to other Hunters once spawned. It does not appear to be visible - feather or mob - to non-hunters, but not confirmed.

Comment by Rikaku The Lost Spectral Gryphon is spawned by the. It is a bright blue and white feather, with a slight glow around it. It's only known spot (as of this post) is in the nest at the far back hallway (near the Gryphon Mount seller). The Lost Spectral Gryphon spawns ontop of it when clicked. Some have reported seeing the feather respawn in as little as 30 minutes, but the details are not quite clear on how fast it respawns. Edit: Some more reports have come in, and while some have reported short timers to respawn, some are reporting 2+ hrs on respawn.

Running Wild Masquerade there. What is making it hard to figure out the respawn is that the feather and nest location seem to be at a location in Stormwind where players seem to 'phase' randomly (according to reports both here and on Petopia's forums). This makes it harder to get a clear timer on the respawn so far.

I am ilvl 901 and have no problem gunning down all the NPC alliance adds to have a clear shot at the beast, however my biggest problem is currently an Alliance hunter (Who had apparently tamed the Dreamway Pup. Search that thing up.) and other realm hoppers. Please, don't realm hop for this beauty. It isn't fair.
